With my last post on Astrology one gentle man pointed out that astrology arises out of personal experiences and gave me this link to DecisionCareSome kind of place where affordable astrology advises can be obtained. I read through all their published stuff there and one thing that struck me point blank is how unclear and misleading each article was. I can quote the posts one sentence at a time and ask questions which I doubt will be answered. Let me dissect the above linked post.

Vedic astrology provides a set of reliable calculation-based diagnostic tools as in medical sciences to analyze this information on the origin of the event. These diagnostics provide a glimpse of things to happen in future. Wow now that is pretty strong arguement. Please let me know what are these 'tools', Future seeing if was based on some kind of diagnostic tool and a numerical value pointing to the origin of the event then why cant the superior computing power be used to create a predicting algorithm which is fool proof? Is it that tese diagnostics can only be performed manually and not using the algorithm? Then how can this be scientific set of rules?? May be for interpretting future we need special human brains which is hereditary and some selected families can only do that and not new generation super computers. Funny thought.

Our experience with decision making in our own personal lives as well as in those of thousands of others who have come in contact with us verifies the truth of Vedic astrology. Well how does it verify the truth, where is the proof stated? Accomplished professionals have not disclosed their credentials or even names on the site. As they see no difference between different sciences i beieve ordinary people are well off making their own decisions about own life rather than consulting these people. In short astrologers from their 'experiencewith decision making in their own personal lives as well as in those ofthousands of others who have come in contact with them' will tell us how to live our lives based on their experience.
